  • Pancreatic cancer is currently the third-leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States and is on track to become the second-leading cause in the coming years.
  • In 2025, approximately 67,440 Americans are expected to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and about 51,980 are projected to die from the disease.
  • The five-year relative survival rate for pancreatic cancer remains at 13%. For individuals diagnosed with pancreatic adenocarcinoma, the most common form of the disease, the survival rate is 8%
  • Pancreatic cancer continues to be the third-leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States and is on track to become the second-leading cause before 2030.
  • Although pancreatic cancer is currently the 10th most commonly diagnosed cancer in the U.S., it has a disproportionately high mortality rate, underscoring the need for increased research and funding.
